Structural Engineer
Mr. Anurag is a structural engineer and diagnosis expert with specialization in working out retrofitting schemes for distressed structures. He possess profound understanding about non-destructive testing (NDT), ground penetrating radar (GPR) and sonic integrity testing of pile foundations. He holds more than 25 years of intense experience in carrying out structural analysis, health assessment and recommendations for repair & strengthening of all sorts of civil engineering structures.
After working as independent M.C.D. registered structural engineer for some time, he joined the consultancy wing ‘Advanced Technology & Engineering Services (ATES)’ of AIMIL Ltd. In the year 1999 and started his stint with pre-condition survey of about 2000 buildings for DMRC’s most prestigious and challenging project of Old Delhi Metro Line. During his 10 years long association with AIMIL, he was personally trained by Dr. Manoj Verman who not only polished his knowledge and skills but also mentored him during his entire tenure.
Mr. Anurag, got golden opportunities to master the acquired skills and knowledge in the form of challenging work assignments encompassing various sorts of structures. He has been fortunate enough to have handled more than 2000 work assignments throughout his career till date. The assignments include variety of civil structures such as Commercial/ Industrial Plants/ Malls/ Factories/ Refineries/ Ports/ Marine/ Structures/ Jetties/ Hospitals/ Schools/ Cinema Halls/ Institutional Buildings/ Hotels/ Stadiums/Multi-story Residential Towers/ Bridges/ Flyovers and Warehouses etc.
He is a dynamic, sincere, intelligent, enthusiastic, hardworking and passionate professional keenly devoted for his commitment 'Towards Healthy Structures'and keeping the same objective in mind he founded Apex Technical Consultancy Service in the year 2010.

Born in 1950, Mr. Adhicary obtained the degree in civil engineering from University of Roorkee in 1973. he is a fellow of Institute of Engineers and Institute of Valuers., Member of Indian Building Congress and Indian Roads Congress.
After working with different govt. and private companies like Gammon India, Patel Engg Co; Astra Construction (an off shoot of Uttam Singh Duggal & Co.), He got engaged in free lance consultancy since 2000. During his 47 years of site experience ,he has undertaken many facets of civil engineering works and has, inter-alia done many retrofitting /rehabilitation projects. As an acknowledgement of the work ethics and quality, he has consented to be an honorary consultant and to extend his expertise to Apex Technical Consultancy Service.
Few of the retrofitting works directly undertaken/ supervised by him are:
1. Extensive rehabilitation of the Doon School, Dehradun post earthquake of 1990.
2. Retrofitting including needle beam foundation treatment of 300 flats of CBI Housing Society in Delhi.
3. Retrofitting of Telesys Factory at Noida
4. Retrofitting at Bank Vihar Society, Rohini Delhi
5. Retrofitting at New Arohi Society at Dwarka , New Delhi.
6. Retrofitting at Him Hit Society at Dwarka ,New Delhi.
7. Rehabilitation of columns at Engineers India Housing Society at Dwarka, New Delhi.
Dr. Manoj Verman

Dr. Manoj Verman an eminent personality of international fame is a well-known name for his in-depth knowledge in the field of civil engineering. Dr. Verman is a Tunneling & Rock Engineering expert, in addition he is a specialist in field instrumentation, non-destructive testing (NDT) and ground penetrating radar (GPR). He has a career spanning more than 34 years.In 1984 he moved to Central Mining Research Institute (CMRI), a premier research and development institute in mining in India.
In early 1997, he moved to New Delhi to join Advanced Technology & Engineering Services (ATES) the consultancy wing of AIMIL Ltd. and helped strengthen its operations in providing engineering services in niche areas of civil engineering. Here, he was instrumental in initiating and nurturing several new specialized services, especially in non-destructive testing (NDT) of concrete and masonry structures and ground penetrating radar (GPR), pile integrity testing etc. besides his continued work in geotechnical engineering. He attended personal training courses on NDT with Proceq at Switzerland and for GPR with GSSI at Canada. He rose to the position of Chief Consultant and headed ATES.
Later, he joined Golder Associates, one of the most respected international consulting companies in the areas of ground engineering and environmental services. Soon, recognizing his expertise, he was given additional responsibility of being the Vice-Chairman of Global Tunneling Group at Golder Associates worldwide. Later, he had a stint with Halcrow as Director (Tunneling & Geotechnical) before moving to Geodata, a global design and consultancy company with focus on tunneling and underground construction.
He published over 75 papers in refereed journals and conference proceedings. He has served on Technical Committees of RILEM and of Bureau of Indian Standards. He has been on Executive Committee of Indian Geo-technical Society. He is currently President of Indian National Group of ISRM and has been the Vice President of Indian Society of Engineering Geology. He is President of ISRM Commission on Hard Rock Excavation.

Capable of establishing perfect coordination with consultants, contractor, subcontractors, suppliers, site engineers, client etc to review work progress and eliminate bottlenecks for smooth project execution. Possess clear understanding of construction methods & implementation, essential for commissioning projects.
In addition, his professional skills include project monitoring & execution, site supervision, operations management construction management cost optimization quality management, project coordination, cost estimation, audit of final bills, estimating, costing, Tendering and coordination with MEP Consultant etc.
